How To Get There

 

  • Reach Palawan by plane

There are two daily flights offered by Philippine Airlines and Air Philippines from the Manila Domestic Airport to the Puerto Princesa Domestic Airport in Central Palawan.

Those bound for the Calamian Group of Islands in North Palawan may board the small planes fielded at least once daily by Asian Spirit, Air Ads and Pacific Air from Manila to the YKR Airport in Busuanga. There are jeepney shuttles bound for Decalatiao Wharf where speedboats ferry visitors to their island destinations.

 

  • Reaching Busuanga

Location : Busuanga

How to get there : It is accessible by plane from Manila to Busuanga. From Puerto Princesa City, it can be reached by taking a jeepney or bus to Taytay, then by sea from Taytay to Coron and by jeepney or bus from Coron to Busuanga.

Travel time : An hour-and-a-half minutes flight from Manila. In Busuanga, half an hour minutes by jeepney to Decalasiao Wharf and three hours by pumpboat to Calauit.

 

  • How to Reach Calauit Island

    You can reach the Calauit Island by air or by sea from Manila to the following air- and sea-routes:

Direct air route: Manila-Busuanga

Regular sea routes: Manila (South Harbor)-Coron-Calauit; Puerto Princesa-Coron-Calauit; Taytay-Coron-Calauit; Liminangcong (Taytay)-Coron-Calauit

Access is possible by vehicle or by your foot. Small rivers and creeks abound on the island, although most of these water sources dry up during hot months. Some springs provide year-long supply of water in ponds and lagoons.
